Joanna Meek Artist

I am a passionate NZ landscape artist and paint in acrylic paints, as I love the bright clear colours it produces. I mainly focus is on light, how it affects and changes almost everything. Most of my landscape paintings feature New Zealand scenery, and they are available in various sizes and colours.

I believe a room or space is never complete without art.  It gives the person who enters in to that space a focus point, a moment to sit down and reflect on the beauty of the art they are witnessing, which in turn either lifts, moves or calms the viewer. Art is what sets us apart from everything else and gives a room its moment to shine.

LATEST NEWS- Its been my honour to take part in the Contemporary New Zealand Art 2026 calendar published by Brown Trout. This calendar captures the beauty of New Zealand, through the eyes of 12 exceptional artists. My contribution was the June 2026 painting.
